The University of Central Lancashire is offering funding support to businesses aiming to develop innovative new products, services or processes by utilising the University’s academic expertise.
One hundred new businesses have been set up thanks to help from Blackpool Council this year.
Superfast Lancashire - a multi-million pound initiative to make high-speed broadband available to 97% of Lancashire homes and businesses by the end of 2015 is now well underway
And they began with a Road to Enterprise course, held by Blackpool Council’s Get Started team, which is part of the Start Up Lancashire service supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
