This is a new and exciting one-day training programme for everyone working in the hospitality, leisure, tourism and retail sectors in Blackpool.
It is an interactive and fun course designed to help you and your staff develop extensive product knowledge of Blackpool and offer a world class welcome to visitors and local residents.
It has been developed by Regional Tourist Board Partnerships Ltd on behalf of Blackpool Council, BlackpoolUnlimited.com and Lancashire & Blackpool Tourist Board and forms part of the nationally-accredited Welcome To Excellence series of training programmes.
The focal point of the one-day workshops – which are being offered free of charge to relevant businesses for an introductory period – is a 60-page participant manual containing detailed information on Blackpool past, present and future, and illustrated with stunning photos of the resort.

A number of leading companies and organisations have already signed up to the programme including Pleasure Beach, Leisure Parcs, Blackpool International Airport, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Blackpool Zoo, Blackpool & The Fylde College, Blackpool Council, NHS Blackpool and dozens of hotels and restaurants.
