Visitor Attractions & Leisure
Accreditation
As part of the drive to increase the quality of experience that visitors to the resort can expect to receive, we recognise, acknowledge and support the Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service (VAQAS) accreditation.
Leisure
Visitors to Blackpool can take advantage of many leisure activities including exhibitions, art Galleries, and the many sport facilities and parks. Many of the people working in customer facing roles within these organisations have attended or will be attending the Welcome to Blackpool workshops, to ensure that excellent customer service and knowledge of the town is delivered and visitor expectations are exceeded.

Customer Service
Customer Service is key to running your business. We recognise the Welcome to Excellence courses which are delivered through Lancashire & Blackpool Tourist Board, and we recommend that you attend these workshops.
Welcome to Blackpool is our very own bespoke course, which provides workshop participants with all the local knowledge required when dealing with visitors to Blackpool. Any person dealing with visitors to the resort should attend these workshops, which are currently offered free of charge.
