Accreditation

As part of the drive to increase the quality of experience that visitors to Blackpool receive, we are introducing and promoting recognised food accreditation schemes.

The Taste Lancashire scheme utilises Quality In Tourism national assessors to grade and accredit eating establishments.

The Seafish Quality Award is a nationally recognised quality kite-mark that recognises only those fish and chip shops and restaurants that have extremely high standards.


Blackpool Breakfast Experience

The Blackpool Breakfast Experience is an initiative focusing on high quality, locally sourced ingredients, which in turn supports the local economy and offers guests a great start to their day in the resort.

Excellent customer service is key to running your business and winning repeat trade. We recognise the Welcome To Excellence courses which are delivered through Lancashire & Blackpool Tourist Board and we recommend that you attend these workshops.

Welcome To Blackpool is our very own bespoke course, which provides workshop participants with all the local knowledge required when dealing with visitors to Blackpool. Any person or business dealing with visitors to the resort should attend this one-day workshop.
