The BIBAs are back!

The search is on to find the most successful and innovative companies in Lancashire.

Hailed as the ‘award they all want to win’, the BIBAs 2009 - co-sponsored by BlackpoolUnlimited.com - are the most ambitious business awards programme yet.

Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of organisers North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce said “A BIBA is a genuinely sought after accolade and our previous winners really have accomplished something that is very special.

"Winning a BIBA shows that your business really has made it to the top.

“The Chamber is proud to play its role in supporting, nurturing and encouraging excellence in the business community, through this awards programme. The BIBAs are all about recognising excellence and achievement in companies operating in Lancashire."

A star line-up of sponsors is again supporting the BIBAs 2009 and the extent of this support has helped the BIBAs to be the most recognisable and important endorsement of corporate and individual achievement in Lancashire.

Last year's event was staged in front of more than 700 guests at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.

Dennis Taylor, Chief Executive of the Lancashire Economic Partnership, the main sponsor said “ Building on the huge success of the previous year, BIBAs 2009 is set to be an even grander showcase of the best of Lancashire business.

“ Supporting businesses and promoting inward investment are key priorities of the Lancashire Economic Strategy and there can be no better way of celebrating our success than by staging an event of this magnitude. We hope that even more companies than ever will participate in BIBAs 2009”.
