Tasty future for the Fylde
Fox's biscuits' bosses say the short-term investment scheme into the Fylde's site is paying off.
Millions of pounds are being pumped into the Wesham factory with 80 new jobs almost full following a huge recruitment drive.
Owners Northern Food have ploughed more than £26m into the Whitworth Street plant in order to increase efficiency and production after a record-breaking year.

Andrew Hanson, head of corporate communications for Northern Foods said; "Around 80 per cent of the posts have been taken since the spring recruitment drive and just a few specialist engineering positions were up for grabs.
He added: "We are delighted with the response for the recruitment campaign and the investment project is going ahead at pace.
"This may be a short term investment into the factory but it will have long-term benefits for Wesham and the rest of the Fylde.
"We have taken on local people with good skills and the machinery we are using is top class and will add to an already impressive brand.
The investment - called Project Golden - has kitted out sites on the Fylde, Batley in Yorkshire and Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.
Fox's has been making biscuits for 150 years and will employ around 480 people once the recruitment drive is complete.
