Skills for Success
There comes a point in any small business where it needs something extra to help it move on to another level of growth.
That’s why BlackpoolUnlimited.com has gone into partnership with Winning Pitch - a team of people who can help established businesses that have moved beyond the start-up phase but have the desire and capability to grow.
The programme is called Skills For Success and it comprises two different approaches:
- A series of six “Accelerator” programmes delivered by Winning Pitch and aimed at helping businesses to greatly improve their ability to find, win and keep customers. Blackpool Council commissioned a series of pilot programmes last year involving 30 local companies and the results were very positive.
The programme is available to businesses from a wide range of sectors, though small operators in the tourism sector that are dependent on the visitor economy will be referred initially to the Tourism Support Bureau. All Accelerator workshops will be held in the New Blackpool Enterprise Centre.
