Robbie set to 'Switch On' Blackpool!

Superstar Robbie Williams will be switching on Blackpool's lights this year.

visitBlackpool, Real Radio and Smooth Radio are delighted to announce that Robbie Williams will be turning on the world-famous Blackpool Illuminations on Friday September 3 - with a quarter of all tickets being allocated to Blackpool residents.

All tickets have now been allocated.

It’s likely to be Robbie’s first live appearance following his from  honeymoon, and it’s certainly the biggest, star-studded night of Blackpool’s calendar and so this year, for the first time ever, you’ll need a ticket to enter the Switch On Arena situated behind the Sealife Centre.

Alesha Dixon, Russell Watson and Olly Murs are just some of the confirmed stars who will perform at the Switch On concert.

Don't worry if you haven't been able to get tickets this year, another great way to view the Switch-On show is to head to St Chad’s headland, where a big screen will show all the performances and the Switch-On live.

Spectators at the screen will also get the chance to watch the Illuminations as they spring to life along the promenade (from approximately 9pm). Or alternatively tune in to Real and Smooth Radio to hear the live Switch On take place.

Hi Pauline, Unfortunately due to incredibly high demand all of the free and VIP Switch On tickets have now been allocated. However, you could encourage your guests to head to St Chad’s headland, where a big screen will show all of the performances and the Switch-On live.
