Phenomenal Women - Karen Hands
After ten years working as a chemical engineer in industry, Karen has been coaching individuals and teams to achieve change in business and personal performance for over a decade. She brings particular experience of presenting to audiences comprised mostly of men, having overcome her own fear of public speaking in this environment. She and Catherine Sandland set up Phenomenal Woman as a collaborative partnership in 2011. Borne out of a shared frustration at the widespread lack of speaking confidence and skills among women in business, Phenomenal Woman draws on the duo’s very different styles of training and speaking to compel their audience to take up the challenge and make themselves heard.

Learn not to miss opportunities for your business because of your lack of confidence about public speaking and honing your presentation skills so that you can create the opportunities to stand up and speak out about your business and your passion.

The Lady Detective Agency - Rebecca Jane
At the grand age of 24 I made my first million pounds in asset, lived in an enormous house that I'd built myself (With a team of 30 unruly builders too!) Drove the best cars money can buy married to a man most people loved and had an angel of a daughter. Life to the outside world looked amazing, but I was living a lie. So called husband was unfaithful, a lot! I'd tried to hire private investigators to track him, but they were cold and insensitive. The people who financially backed all my property investments went bankrupt and told me I would go with them, if I didn't sell my current development within 12 weeks. Faced with financial ruin, losing my home and a philandering husband, I decided I had enough and my life was going to change.
My career and marriage were over. The thought of being a divorcee before 25 was shameful, now to bring up my daughter on my own with no job was daunting. So I put my idea into action, people need private investigation services. To ring up someone, pour out your life story and for them not to care is simply not acceptable. Opening a female investigation company, to help catch cheating partners and child maintenance fraudsters wasn't the easiest of tasks with no capital behind me, but I did it. Now we're the UK's leading female investigation company, with global expansion plans.

I swore I'd never marry again, and all that business about true love and soul mates are figments of people's imaginations. I should know, I get faced with horror stories on a daily basis... But then, once in your life someone comes along who restores all faith in love and human nature...
